There are many different sportswear retailers on the internet at present, but I have found one site, which I return to, on a regular basis.

Kitbag.com is a B2C Virtual Storefront E-Commerce Business Model.

Kitbag.com specialises in leisurewear and sportswear, and the company pride themselves on their speedy delivery and excellent customer service.The home page is set out in a plain and simple navy blue and white design, having all links spaced out evenly, and well presented. To the left hand side of the home page there are a number of links, which set out the different departments on the site. Kitbag.com is not only for Football Apparels but for all the other sports. They provide apparels for sports such as Rugby, Basketball, Baseball, American Football, Tennis and the list goes on.

Souveniours are also a highlight in the website. Gifts and Memorabilia are all available in the website.

The apparels which are sold on the website are not easily available to us in Singapore.

The F1 fever has left Singapore for the moment but It will come back for the next 5 years or even more. All the F1 driver's jerseys and shirts are sold in the website. This will be a good thing for Singaporean F1 fans because the F1 apparels are not avaialbe in the shopping centres.

And don't even get me started on Football (Soccer). Singaporean men are a crazy lot and this site had everything that we need.

The football section is particularly extensive, and has a wide range of accessories and clothing geared towards the sport.
Prices vary dramatically and there is something for every price range. For example, goalkeeping gloves vary in price from £9.99 to an incredible £44.99.Products in the Football section can be searched for by brand or by type, and all are pictured, with a detailed description, together with price, availability and sizes.

There is also an extensive team listing within this section, for International and European as well as English, whereby items are displayed relating to the choice of team. As you would expect, home and away kits can be purchased for all of the teams on the site, which normally retail at £39.99 for a shirt, and £44.99 if the option of a number and a player name is chosen. As well as kits, accessories are also available for some clubs; watches, dressing gowns and mugs to name but a few. As you might expect, Manchester United, Liverpool and England seem to have the largest choice within this category, with many accessories and novelty items, ideal for a present for a diehard fan.

Items can be searched for in this category by brand, department or price. There is always a good range of stock listed here, and it is advisable to look at this section before placing an order elsewhere on the site.

Placing an order is a very simple procedure. An account will need to be set up, which is a simple matter of filling in name, address and credit card, debit card details. Once this has been done, simply log in and select the items to purchase. All items will be shown in the virtual basket at the left hand side of the page. If credit card details of delivery addresses need to be changed in the future, this can be done by clicking on the profile tab at the top of the home page.
Delivery is free on orders over £60, and I have not yet visited the site and spent less than that amount, so have never had to pay any delivery charges.Once the items have been selected, click on the checkout button, which will take you to secure area, where privacy is guaranteed. When the order is placed, a confirmation mail is sent to the address specified when registering.

Orders are sent via Royal Mail for UK customers and via DHL for those living abroad. I have always received any order I have placed within three days, although there is a warning that any Nike items ordered, may take longer, as these have to be ordered direct from the manufacturer.
If an item is unsuitable, it may be returned to Kitbag within fourteen days, for a full refund. Returns slips are enclosed with all packages, and these do have to be completed. If the item ordered is broken or faulty, there is a Customer Services telephone number to call on the website.

NEGATIVE POINTS♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠♠
The womens section is lacking in some of the categories. Kitbag seem to cater adequately for men and children, but their female range is slightly smaller. The DVD and video section is slightly more expensive then other sites, but Kitbag is mainly for clothing, so this has never been a cause for concern. DVDs are easily available in Singapore.

Kitbag offer a very speedy delivery service, and to this end I have never had to use their customer service. The site is well laid out and easy to follow, and the range of football related items is extensive. The provision of a wish list on the site enables children to visit and add items, so that I can shop easily. Overall, I thoroughly recommend the site, especially if you need to buy for sports mad people at birthdays. Even during the busy festive period, items are normally despatched on the day of purchase, delivery is fast, and availability of the items on the site is very good. To date, I have never visited and any item has been out of stock. All the things you can Imagine about any sports are available in here.
